Weight Loss for the right reasons
I decided to create this website www.theflatabs.com because I am consistently prodded of how mentally stressful the whole weight loss process really is. Possibly this could assist you uncover why weight loss has been a long time battle for you and for myself.
Not in any way I looked better than I did on my wedding day, while growing up, weight had always been a struggle for me. But through determination and hard work plus cutting out junk food while packing healthy lunches to take to work, I lost 15 lbs for the wedding.
But after getting hitched, I gained back the weight. No thanks to self indulgent and too many nights on the couch eating takeout with hubby. Yet I made up my mind to take control of my health once again, so I put on my sneakers, hit the gym and strengthened my body.
I understand that lot of people particularly from teens and twenties who often thought that if they could easily lose some weight, they know that they will be happier. The truth is those kind of thoughts can be cogent if you only wish to lose weight for the right reasons.
For instance, if you are invariably comparing yourself to others and more concerned about what other people might think of you, I believe your issue is more of confidence or self-esteem than it is your weight.
Perhaps you believe that the main issue is actually your weight for the reason that we live in such a weight conscious world where everybody is infatuated and obsessed in becoming skinny. Granted that you lose weight but as a matter of fact, your low self esteem can trigger dissatisfaction and find something else that will make you unhappy.
The reality is, not in any circumstances you will honestly be happy till you get to know how to love yourself notwithstanding of what others would say about you.
I get some earful remarks from other people that would say my friends think I’m fat” or “my boyfriend wants me to lose weight”. If you let somebody’s remarks as your motivating factor to lose weight, consequently losing weight is not going to resolve your problem.
But the main issue here is you having a low self-esteem and your meaning of happiness relies on what other persons think of your body. Although your belief is only the weight issue, you may learn it is a lot deeper that that.
